Load JagannathArrive Vishakapatnam meet our representative and transfer to Jeypore by road (5hr driving) Enroute visit the Dravidian village. If time permit visit the Jagannath temple at Koraput. Overnight stay in a decent hotel at Jeypore.

Tue-9th feb.

Load JagannathDeparture for Dhuruba tribe village at Gupteswar bordering state of Chhatishgarh explore their life style and visit also cave shrine and return back to Jeypore for overnight staying.

 

Wed-10th feb.

After breakfast drive toward Gadhava tribe village and explore their life style also trekking (4hr+visit)toward the most interesting Bonda tribe village and explore their life style. Overnight stay in Mali tribe village or return back to Jeypore for overnight staying.

 

Thu-11th feb

Visit the most colorful Bonda tribe weekly market at Onkadelly (2hr drive+visit) and after that departure for Rayagada Enroute visit Buddha kondha village. Overnight stay in a decent hotel at Rayagada.

 

Fri-12th feb

Early departure for saura tribe village near Gunupur region (3hr drive+visit) enjoy the animist festival at their and after that drive toward Bissam Cuttack area to explore the famous Siva ratri festival on the foot hill of Niyamgiri . return back to Desia tribe village for overnight staying. Or back to Rayagada.

 

Sat-13th feb

Dunguria tribe festival and drive towards taptapani Enroute visit the tibetian village. Overnight stay in a decent hotel and relax.

 

Sun-14th feb

Drive toward chilika lake- Rambha afternoon boating on chilika lake visit the breakfast island, birds island, cave island etc. overnight stay in a decent hotel at Rambha on the bank of chilika lake.

 

Mon-15th feb

Drive towards to Joranda enjoy the evening prayer and Enroute visit the unique textile village at Nuapatna. Overnight stay in heritage palace at Dhenkanal.

 

Tue-16th feb

Excursion the ruin excavated point Buddhist spot of orissa popularly known as Lalitgiri- Udaygiri – Ratnagiri. Then after drive towards Chandbali . overnight stay in a decent hotel on the bank of Baitarani river.

 

Wed-17th feb

Ride the motor boat for Bhitarkanika wild life National park. Explore the flora and funa of the mangrove forest. Evening return back to Main land and overnight stay in the same hotel at Chandbali.

 

Thu-18th feb

Departure for Bhubaneswar check in a nice hotel and afternoon visit the jain cave at Khandagiri and Udaygiri and overnight stay in a same hotel.

 

Fri-19th feb

Excursion the ancient temple tour in Bhubaneswar and departure for puri upon arrival at Puri check in a decent hotel on beach.

 

Sat-20th feb

Puri sight seeing by cycle rickshaw and afternoon departure for Konark- sun temple and late evening enjoy the dance and Music festival at Konark. Return back to Puri and relax.

 

Sun-21st feb

Village tour – artisian village / Raghurajpur and enjoy the classical gotipua dance. Return back to puri for overnight staying.

 

Mon-22nd feb

After breakfast checkout and departure for your onward journey.

D1-28th Jan.2010-(Thu)-ARRIVAL BHUBANESWAR
Arrival Bhubaneswar meet our Heritage Tours representative at airport and transfer to hotel rest and relax.

D2-29th Jan-(Fri)-JORANDA SADHU FESTIVAL- DHENKANAL
Morning departure for Joranda (3hr drive) to explore the Mahima Sadhu festival, where more then one thousand Sadhu and thousands of locality celebrate their holy festival with holy fire for peace and harmony of universe.
Return back to Palace for overnight staying.

D3-30th Jan-(Sat)-SATKOSIA WILD SANCTUARY
Morning departure for the famous Satkosia wild life sanctuary(2 ½ hr). Check in a eco tent on the bank of Mahanadi river. Afternoon drive towards core area and enjoy the different flora and funa.
Overnight stay in the same eco tent.

D4-31st Jan-(Sun)-BAUDA- TEXTILE VILLAGE-SONEPUR
Morning boating the satkosia gorge to witness the rare wild life species on nature. Check out for Sonepur- 2nd temple city in orissa.  Enroute visit the unique star shaped temple at Bauda.
Afternoon proceed towards the famous textile village- “BaidyanathPur” explore there the special design of textile weaving- Bomkey. And enjoy the sunset on the rock bed of tel river near the textile village.
Return back  to Sonepur check in  a decent hotel for overnight staying.

D5-1st Feb-(Mon)-HUMA-SIRIPUR-RAIPUR
Drive towards Raipur (8hr drive) enroute visit the leaning temple at Huma. Popularly known as leaning pissa of Orissa.
Enjoy the Buddhist icon-graphy at Siripur also the only brick temple of Chhatishgarh- Laxmannath temple (7th century AD) near siripur.
Check in a decent hotel at Raipur for overnight staying.

D6-2nd Feb-(Tue)-RAJIM- MURIA TRIBE- KUMARPARA
Check out and departure for Rajim- the richest cultural place of chhatishgarh famous for Rajivlochan temple-8th century AD. Excursion the temple and then proceed for Kumarpara.
Near Keskal explore the Muria tribe village. Enjoy the Bison horn Muria tribe dance at there (subject to available the drum men).
Overnight stay in Kumarpara- decent room run by teracota NGO.

D7-3rd Feb-(Wed)- JAGDALPUR- LOCAL
After breakfast departure for Jagdalpur. Check in a nice hotel after noon Local sight seeing of Jagdalpur also the tribal museum.
Overnight stay in the same hotel.

D8-4th Feb-(Thu)- KUTUMSAR-MARIA TRIBE-TIRATHGARH WATERFALL- JAGDALPUR
Morning visit Kanger Valley National Park(1 ½ hr drive)  south of Jagdalpur (take permit at the entry point) where there are famous stalactite and stalagmite formations in the Kutumsar and Kailash Caves.
Trekking(2hr) and meet  the Maria tribe village and explore their life style, and their typical type of house making, their worship place and many more.
Then drive to Kanger Vally water fall.

Then return back to hotel for overnight staying  

D9-5th Feb-(Fri)- BARSUR-CHITRAKOT WATERFALL-JAGDALPUR
Load JagannathProceed toward Barsur(2hr drive),
Some of the temples worth mentioning are Mama-Bhanjaa temple, Chandraditya temple, Battisa temple and a mammoth statue of Lord Ganesha. Apart from these temples one vast pond of pre-historical days is worth visiting.

Afternoon visit the Niagara of India- "Chitrakoot" waterfall, which is not only this the largest waterfall of India, but also one of the prettiest.
