Morning departure for Dhuruba tribe village (3 ½ hr drive) near the border state of Chhatishgarh. Explore the life style of Dhuruba tribe and return back to their weekly market at Baligaon. After visiting the market return to Jeypore (orissa). Check in a decent hotel for overnight staying.
D11-7th Feb-(Sun)-BONDA VILLAGE TREKKING- TENT NEAR WATERFALL
Departure for the most primitive tribe of orissa- Bonda tribe (2hr drive then trekking for Bonda tribe village- 2 hr for one side) meet the Bonda people at their village and explore their primitiveness. Enjoy the packet lunch near a beautiful stream. Return back to base camp near Machhakund waterfall- view point.
D12-8th Feb-(Mon)-GADHAVA TRIBE-PARAJA TRIBE- SUBAI-JAGANNATH TEMPLE-JEYPORE
Drive for Gadhava tribe village- one of the most primitive tribe in orissa. Explore their life style, house construction, worship place etc. enjoy their dance at their (subject to available of drum men). Then after drive for paraja tribe at Nandapur area.
Explore the jain monument at Subai. While returning time excursion the Jagannath cult and hindu philosophy at Koraput (all religious and photo camera are allowed).
Back to Jeypore for overnight staying.
D13-9th Feb-(Tue)- BUDDHA KONDH-RAYAGADA-DUNGURIA TRIBE TREKKING-TENT.
Departure from Jeypore to Dunguria Kondh area. Enroute visit the famous Buddha kondh village explore their life style and pre- historic symbol at there.
After finishing lunch at Rayagada drive for the bottom of Niyamgiri hill. Trekking on Niyamgiri hill and meet the Dunguria tribe at their village (3hr hiking).
Overnight stay in the basic eco tent near waterfall (Niyamgiri).
D14-10th Feb-(Wed)-DUNGURIA TRIBE- DESIA TRIBE VILLAGE-TENT
Meet the colorful Dunguria tribe at their weekly market at Chatikona. After some time with them departure for Pottery making village and then Desia tribe village, surrounding by lush green forest and zig zag hill path. See there their primitiveness and overnight stay in that village.
D15-11th Feb-(Thu)-SAURA TRIBE-TAPTAPANI
Morning enjoy that village on the top of hill. After breakfast departure for Taptapani Enroute visit the famous Aryan tribe popularly known as Lajia Saura.
They are staying on the back hill of puttasing.
There you explore their terrace cultivation , dream painting, ladies are wearing wood plug on their ear, tail shaped dress . that why popularly they known as Lajia Saura.
Check in a decent hotel at Taptapani / enjoy your hot sulpher bath at your room. Overnight stay in the same hotel.
D16-12th Feb-(Fri)-CHILIKA LAKE- BOATING- RAMBHA
Departure for Chilika lake (3 hr) Enroute visit the salt field at Humma. Checkin a decent hotel on the bank of Chilika lake.
After noon boating on chilika lake. Lot of funny entertainment program at Breakfast island, also visit the birds island, cave island and return back to main land. Overnight stay at the same hotel at Rambha.
D17-13th Feb-(Sat)-JAIN CAVE-BHUBANESWAR
Proceed towards Bhubaneswar at the entrance of Bhubaneswar visit the gloriest past of orissan history in the form of rock edict at Khandagiri and Udaygiri Jain cave. Queens cave, tiger cave , elephant cave, many more then check in a nice hotel at Bhubaneswar.
D18-14th Feb-(Sun)-TEMPLE TOUR-BHUBANESWAR
Visit the ancient temple of temple city on chronological order such as Parasurameswar-7th AD, Mukteswar-9th AD, Lingaraj-11th AD, and holy tank. Afternoon visit the unique Rajarani temple-11th AD. Free evening for self. Overnight stay in the same hotel.
D19-15th Feb-(Mon)-LALITGIRI-UDAYGIRI-RATNAGIRI-BHUBANESWAR
Morning departure for diamond triangle of orissa (2hr drive) such as Lalitgiri-1st century AD, Udaygiri- 8th century AD, Ratnagiri-8-12th century AD. Once famous for Buddhist university and philosophy.
Excursion the ruin Buddha vihar (monastery), Maha- stupa, chaitya.
And the museum at Ratnagiri.
Return back to Bhubaneswar for overnight staying.
D20-16th Feb-(Tue)-YOGINI TEMPLE-SATAPADA-CHLIKA LAKE
After breakfast check out and proceed towards the other part of Chilika lake-“ Satapada”.
Visit the famous Yogini temple (8th century AD) at Hirapur near Bhubaneswar.
The open roofed temple having 64different mother goddess with different vehicles and hair style.
Satapada- the new mouth of chilika that side famous for wild Irrawady dolphin and natural beauty. 110 kms from Bhubaneswar.
Afternoon boat ride to meet the wild Irrawady dolphin on nature. And the mingling point sea mouth return back to main land and overnight stay in the same hotel at Satapada.
D21-17th Feb-(Wed)-PURI
Departure for puri (1 ½ hr drive).
Puri: a holy city on shore of bay of Bengal / eastern part of India.
Check in a decent hotel on sea beach.
Free after noon for self.
D22-18th Feb-(Thu)-PURI
Visit the artisian village at Raghuraj pur. Meet the traditional artist at their village and excursion the orissan classical patta- painting and palm painting etc.
Enjoy the classical “Gotipua” dance at Gurukul near Raghurajpur.
Return back to puri for overnight staying.
D23-19th Feb-(Fri)-KONARK DANCE FESTIVAL-KONARK
After breakfast check out and proceed to Konark. Excursion the sun temple (13th century AD) of Konark and enjoy the language of stone.
Enjoy your typical lunch at Konark.
Enjoy the sun set near chandrabhaga beach. At the evening enjoy the Konark Music and dance festival at the open auditorium near Konark.
Overnight stay in the same hotel at Konark.
