ITINERARY

D1- Fri-Arrival Hyderabad / Delhi / Mumbai –
connecting flight to Raipur meet our representative at the airport and transfer to a decent hotel.Afternoon excursion the Buddhist site- Siripur- depending to arrival time. During evening welcome drink hosted by us and orientation of tribal tour and introduction of the trip & crews.  

                       
D2- Sat-Rajim- Keskal- kanker(190km)
After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Kanker. Enroute visit the Prayag of chhatisgarh-“ Rajim” :
Rajim is located on the sangam (meeting points) of three rivers- Mahanadi, Pairy and Sondhu. The prime attraction of Rajim is the Rajivalochana Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The temple has 12 exquisitely carved pillars with tall single figures with faces of various gods and goddesses sculptured on them. In proximity to the Rajivalochana Temple, there are many other temples dedicated to different incarnations of lord Vishnu such as Vamana (dwarf), Narasimha (human body with face of a lion), Badrinath and Jagannath. The temple of Rajivalochana attracts thousands of devotees from all over India and abroad throughout the year. There is also a magnificent black stone statue of the lord Buddha meditating under the Bodhi tree.

Note: Another major attraction of Rajim is its Annual Fair known as the Rajim Lochan Mahotsav, organized every year from 16th February to 1st March. the Fair is now organized on grand scale, attracting thousands of visitors from all corners of the country. The colorful cultural programs of folk music, dance and drama are part and parcel of this beautiful Fair and never fail to fascinate the audiences.
Visit the Keskal area to visit the Maria tribe and explore their life style. Then drive to Kanker for overnight stay.

D3-Sun-Kanker- Kondagaon- Jagdalpur
Departure for Jagdalpur Enroute visit the Kondagaon to witness the Dokra craft village also visit the Kumarpara for terakotta handicraft. Then check in a nice hotel at Jagadalpur free afternoon for self. Overnight stay in  the same hotel.

D4-Mon-Trekking on Maria Tribe village- Tirathgarh waterfall-Kutamsar cave-Maria weekly market-jagdalpur
Morning departure for Maria Tribe village inside of Kangervelly National Park. Visit the sterility natural cave of Kutumsar and explore the Maria tribe life style at their village.
Afternoon visit the Tirathagarh waterfall and the famous colorful weekly market of Maria tribe.then return back to Jagadalpur for overnight staying.

D5-Tue-Local s/s Jagdalpur- Chitrakot Waterfall- Muria weekly market
Morning local sight seeing of Jagdalpur afternoon visit the Nigra of India- the famous Chitrakoota waterfall. Enroute enjoy the Muria tribe weekly market. Overnight stay in the same hotel at Jagdalpur.

D6-Wed- Kotapad-Textile village- Jeypore
Departure for Jeypore (orissa) enrout visit the textile village at Kotpad famous for Gonda tribe. Check in a decent hotel of Jeypore for overnight staying.

D7-Thu- Bonda tribe weekly market- Gaddhava village- Jeypore
Drive towards to visit the most primitive colorful tribe of Orissa-“ Bonda” enjoy their primitiveness and their home made alcohol market./ enjoy your packet lunch near waterfall. Visit the Gadhava tribe village and explore their primitiveness. If possible enjoy the tribal dance at tribal village (subject to available of drum men).
Overnight stay in a basic tent near waterfall.

D8-Fri- Bonda tribe village- Mali tribe village-Gupteswar
Trekking to visit the colorful Bonda tribe village (4hr) to explore their life style. Return back to Gupteswar Enroute visit the sub tribe of Paraja community i.e: Mali tribe (famous for flower cultivation, seasonal vegitable).
Overnight stay in a basic tent of Dhuruba tribe.

D9-Sat- Dhuruba village- weekly Market- cave shrine- Jeypore
Early stand up for trekking (3hr) towards Gond Dhuruba village enjoy their life style. Enjoy the cave shrine worshiped by tribe communities. Afternoon explore the weekly market of Dhuruba tribe then return back to Jeypore for overnight staying.

 

D10-Sun- Paraja tribe-coffee gardern- Buddha Kondha Tribe- Rayagada
Departure for Rayagada Enroute visit the paraja tribe village, enjoy your packet lunch at coffee garden.
Enjoy the pre- historic symbol at Buddha kondha village. Then check in a decent hotel at Rayagada for overnight staying.

D11-Mon- Lajia Saura village-Desia Tribe village-
Meet the Lajia Saura tribe at their village, enjoy their dream painting, terrace cultivation, wood plug and typical traditional dress material and many more then drive towards Desia tribe village / surrounding of lush green forest and zig zag hill path. Overnight stay in a same village.

D12-Tue-Pottery village- jewellary making village- Trekking on Niyamgiri Hill.
Visit Pottery making village and Jewellary making village afternoon trekking towards Niyamgiri hill to meet the most colorful Dunguria tribe and explore their life style. Return back to
D13-Wed- Dunguria Kondha weekly market- visakhapatnam

D14-Thu- Departure for onwards destination.

Note: Dushra festival  in Bastar (Jagdlpur) is too much famous Dt: 25th to 28th sept. 2009.
