Satkoshia Gorge Sanctuary

One of the most enchanting terrains covered by forests of mixed deciduous nature, this sanctuary includes a 22kms long satkoshia gorge , where the mahanadi river with heavy force cuts through eastern ghats, create a dazzling sights for the visiters. The area was once a natural habitat of tiger but now rarely sighted. The biodiversity with rich flora and fauna make this place an ideal retreat for the nature lovers. One may see crocodiles while boating in the river gorge, Also deer, boar, elephant, langur are well sighted while doing jungle safari. Badmul or Kamaladiha is only 110 kms from Bhubanewar, nicely located pn the foothills of majestic hill range and along the scenic mahanadi river bed.
